Learn How Your Agency Can Announce Larger Than Life And Out Of This World News In Only 140 Characters

Through Social Media, NASA Goddard is able to communicate complex information, like scientific discoveries, through coordinated campaigns that tailor each message to be the most effective on various social media platforms. As a large government institution that's all about science and technology, their goal is to endlessly remind everyone that they are still human. While their content may be out of this world, they strive to be easily within reach on social media.

NASA Goddard has unique content and their excitement to share that content is what makes their social media so successful. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to share your excitement of your agency’s achievements in 140 characters or less, including:
  • Creating a multi-platform social media campaign to effectively share stories and news
  • Strategically and artfully crafting content for different audiences
  • Learning the overwhelming importance of images on social media
