Deidre Forster has been the state public affairs officer at the Wyoming Military Department for almost 15 years. She has taken the agency – sometimes kicking and screaming – into the world of digital communication. Her responsibilities include all external and internal communication for the Wyoming Army National Guard, Wyoming Air National Guard, Wyoming Veterans Commission, and the variety of support programs for military members and their families that fall under each. She has a master’s in communication and leadership from Gonzaga University and is accredited in military public affairs through the Universal Accreditation Board for the Public Relations Society of America.
